In this fast-paced world, efficiency is the name of the game. Daily tasks in school, office or at home should be done effectively in a relatively short period of time in order to cover as many activities as possible. Here are some ways by which an employee may increase his efficiency in tackling his daily tasks:
1. Make a systematic planning of activities for the day. It has been said that much time is being wasted because of absence of a definite focus in a particular day. Without a daily itinerary of activities, the employee is without direction as to what specific activities are to be prioritized within the day. An employee is prone to be wasting much time without any idea on what to finish in a day.

3. Adapt yourself to multi-tasking or doing multiple tasks at a time if the same is possible given a limited time. Use internet tools which could facilitate the execution of the task or project. It is equally important to get acquainted with what online collaboration tools are available which can make your work easier and faster.
4. Reward yourself for every task well-done. This gives you a feeling of self-esteem and a sense of recognition on what you have accomplished for the day.
If you apply sound principles of work efficiency coupled with admirable work ethics, it would not be difficult for you to accomplish such a big task. Who knows, you could be the next best employee in your company. Aim high and work steadfastly for it!
