How To Speed up your Internet Connection by 20% Using Windows Tweek

Here’s a great tip to increase your internet connection from your own windows settings using simple registry tricks. Do you know that by default windows reserve 20% of our bandwidth for Windows for updates and interrogating your computer? That’s right! That’s why, I will show you how to regain this reserved bandwidth and thru this post it will surely speed up your Internet connection.

Step 1. Go to Start and Open RUN or Press Window key +R for RUN

Step 2.On the Run box give the command GPEDIT.MSC

Step 3.Click OK Group Policy Object Editor window will open on that window Select the Administrative Templates under Local Computer Policy.

Step 4.On Administrative Templates you will find a container named Network under that select QoS Packet Scheduler there you will get the settings Limit reservable bandwidth Double click on that the window shown in the picture will pop up.

Step 5.Click Enable radio button, in the Bandwidth limit % key in 0 instead of 20, click Apply OK

Step 6.To Apply this Group Policy with out restarting your computer you have to take back RUN and key in the command GPUPDATE /FORCE
