For books, the student can try to go to a second hand book store and buy those which are available in that store. Usually, the price is less than half of the original price, or even lesser than half of the original price. Back in my law school, I was surprised to learn that I can take hold of a typical law book from a second hand bookstore far lesser than its actual market price. And most law students who bought books in this store were pretty much satisfied. They commented that the books offered in such a store are not yet tattered, still useful and using these books are a lot more practical than buying new ones tagged with prohibitive price. If a secondhand bookstore is to no avail, you can apply membership in a Reading Club or other similar organizations which allow its members to trade in or exchange reading materials available among members. You want a new laptop, but can’t afford to buy a new one? Worry no more; make some shopping online for used laptops. When you find one, you will be elated to learn that some online laptop stores offer used laptops are extremely low prices. They must have been used by the owner for a couple of months, but they are still in good condition and will still be able to serve you for a longer time.
