How to get listed on Search Engines? It all starts with your META TAGS….

Here is the following Meta Tags that is very needed in your web page.

No need to have other meta tags like abstract, re-visit and all, most people don’t read it.

Now…

This tag is tells content type is html and character set used it iso-8859-1 there are other character sets also but this is the one mostly used..

This one should have all your keywords inside starting from keyword with most counts…

keyword tag for our example would be something like :

Remember to put around 15-20 keywords max not more than that. Don’t repeat keywords or dont put keywords like, “tech news”, “info tech news”, “latest tech news” and so on…

Provide short description about your site and include all the keywords mentioned in the title tag.

Description tag should be:

It can be up to 255 characters and avoid using more than 3 “,” commas

This is used for search robots. Following explanation will help you:

index,follow = index the page as well as follow the links
noindex,follow = dont index the page but follow the links
index,nofollow = index the page but dont follow the links
noindex,nofollow = dont index page, dont follow the links
all = same as index,follow
none = same as noindex,nofollow

How to rank better in Google? How to make your site easy to be found by people searching using Google from a particular country or location? These are very interesting question. Some peoples are getting problem in promotion in particular country. Here are some important points to promote website in particular country.

Website Content: – Website content should carry country specific information and it should be targeted country’s language.

Geo Targeting: – Google webmaster has option to set website geographical location. Set that desired location and always try to use particular country search engine for ranking monitoring.

Search Engine & Directory Submission: – Website should submit in country specific search engines and directories. Try to find out local directories and classified sites and list your website in that.

Google Map Address & Local Address: – Your website should carry local address and phone no. of that country and area because Google have its database in its google map and give special preference for those sites. Try to list your website in local map sites and add this listing at your website also.

Article Submission & Press Release Submission: – Your website’s article and press releases should be submitted in local article distribution sites and press release site.

Link Exchange: – Your website should carry most of the targeted country links in incoming category. Once your website will become popular in local area websites. You will get good ranking at your desired targeted country and area or search engine.

The Search Engine Marketing & Optimization talk at Urdaneta City University was a successful seminar that for the first time the secret of earning online has been revealed to the people of Pangasinan.

The event was participated by Bitstop Network Services, Urdaneta City University, and ICT Pangasinan. The whole day seminar was the first SEO and SEM Seminar in Pangasinan making Search Engine Marketing & Optimization a revealing opportunity for ICTÂ students and practitioners to earn extra income thru blogging.

Janette Toral Talks focused on introduction to search engine marketing & optimization, planning an SEM campaign, keyword discovery & analysis, search engine processing basics, improving website page titles, description, menus, body text, other assets, and good content (on-page optimization), tracking and fine tuning your website.

Gary Viray gave a talk on link building techniques, tools, & tactics (off-page optimization). This includes getting a website linked through directory submissions, article writing, online press releases, social media/networking tools, and paid advertising programs.
